The shortlist has been announced for this year’s Opera Awards, which will be presented on May 15^th. We are proud to say that five of our artists feature in different categories:

Sir Mark Elder: CD of the Year for Donizetti’s Les Martyrs (Opera Rara)

Graham Vick: Artistic Director of Birmingham Opera Company, for Accessibility, and also for Rediscovered Work – Tippett’s The Ice Break

Barrie Kosky: New Production of the Year for Glyndebourne’s Saul

Andrew Gourlay: For rediscovered work – Tippett’s The Ice Break with Birmingham Opera Company
