Ingpen artists feature in ENO’s 2016–17 season

English National Opera has recently announced its 16/17 season and we are delighted that many of our artists feature prominently throughout:

Allan Clayton sings the role of Don Ottavio in a new production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni directed by Richard Jones and conducted by Mark Wigglesworth which opens the season

Jeffrey Lloyd-Roberts sings Prince/Manservant/Marquis in Lulu in the unforgettable staging from celebrated artist and director William Kentridge and conducted by Mark Wigglesworth

Described as “the biggest highlight of the 2016/17 season” is the world premiere of The Winter’s Tale, written by ENO Composer-in-Residence Ryan Wigglesworth who will also conduct the performances.  This production will be directed by Olivier Award-winning actor Rory Kinnear in his directorial debut.

Andrew Shore returns to the role of Major General Stanley in a revival of Mike Leigh’s Pirates of Penzance.

Sir Richard Armstrong conducts Jonathan Miller’s classic production of Verdi’s Rigoletto.

Christian Curnyn returns to conduct Christopher Alden’s Olivier-Award winning production of Handel’s Partenope.
