Roderick Williams wins the singer category in 2016 RPS Awards

The news of Roderick Williams’ victory in the singer category of last night’s RPS Awards was greeted with enthusiastic applause at the ceremony at The Brewery. After accepting the Award, Roddy sang a short programme of songs, accompanied by Roger Vignoles.

Henry Waddington was also present to accept, with Gus Christie, the Opera Award on behalf of Glyndebourne, for Barrie Kosky’s production of Saul, which was conducted by Ivor Bolton.
