Morgan Pearse wins 7th Cesti competition
27.08.16Morgan Pearse was crowned the winner of the 7th Cesti singing competition, run by the Innsbrucker Festwochen fur Alte Musik, on Friday 26th August.
The illustrious jury consisted of Sebastian Schwartz of Glyndebourne Opera, Sophie de Lint from Zurich Opera, Hein Mulders from the Aalto Theater, Essen, Mauricio Fernandez from Zaterdag Matinee and Jochen Breiholz from the Theater an der Wien.
As well as a prize of €4,000 Morgan has already received an invitation from the Innsbrucker Festwochen to sing the role of Nero in Keiser’s opera Octavia in their 2017 festival.
