Graham Vick CBE directs new production of ‘Death in Venice’ at the Deutsche Oper Berlin starring Paul Nilon

Graham Vick will direct a new production of Britten’s Death in Venice for the Deutsche Oper Berlin, with Paul Nilon as Aschenbach. It will open in Berlin on March 19th, conducted by Donald Runnicles and choreographed by Ron Howell. Graham Vick will return to the UK in late March to start rehearsals for his Glyndebourne Festival production of Cavalli’s Hipermestra and Paul Nilon will sing the title role in Monteverdi’s Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria this summer for the Grange Festival.
