Ida Ränzlöv Receives the 2023 Birgit Nilsson Stipend

Groves Artists are delighted to announce that mezzo-soprano, Ida Ränzlöv, has been announced as the 2023 recipient of the Birgit Nilsson Stipend which is given annually to support a promising young Swedish singer.  First presented in 1973, the stipendium has supported 26 singers including Nina Stemme, Malin Byström, Hillevi Martinpelto and John Lundgren.  Ida says “In terms of supporting my career this is a gift from above”.  Ida will be presented the award at a recital as part of the celebrations for the Birgit Nilsson days on the 11^th August 2023.
