Groves Artists sign soprano Sophie Bevan MBE
05.11.20Groves Artists are thrilled to announce that they have taken over the worldwide management of acclaimed soprano Sophie Bevan.
Recognised as one of the most sought after sopranos of her generation Sophie works regularly with leading orchestras, opera companies and conductors worldwide.
Recent and future highlights include Ah! Perfido with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Four Last Songs with the Philharmonia, Les Illuminations with the BBC Philharmonic and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestras, Susanna Le nozze di Figaro and Dalinda Ariodante at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Beatriz in Thomas Adès’ The Exterminating Angel for the Salzburg Festival and the Metropolitan Opera, New York, Michal Saul for Glyndebourne Festival Opera, The Governess in Garsington’s recently acclaimed production of The Turn of the Screw as well as regular appearances at the BBC Proms and Edinburgh International Festivals and recitals in venues including the Wigmore Hall and Concertgebouw.
Sophie was awarded an MBE for services to music in the 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours.
