Opera Awards 2015

We are delighted that several of our artists are individually nominated this year, as well as having many others who are involved in some way in other categories.

Our congratulations to:

Lothar Koenigs who has been nominated in the Conductor category

Opera Rara, who Sir Mark Elder conducts in Offenbach: Fantasio, which has been nominated in the CD (Complete Opera) category

Carolyn Sampson who has nominated in the CD (Operatic Recital) for Arias for Marie Fel in the Hyperion label

Graham Vick who has been nominated in the Director category

Paul Daniel who conducts Berg: Lulu for Bel Air Classiques which has been nominated in the DVD category

Garsington Opera, where Douglas Boyd is Artistic Director, which has been nominated in the Festival category

Graham Vick and his Birmingham Opera Company who have been nominated in the New Production category for Khovanskygate

Komische Oper Berlin, where Barrie Kosky is Intendant, which has been nominated in the Opera Company category

Opera Rara, again conducted by Sir Mark Elder on Donizetti: Les Martyrs, which has been nominated in the Rediscovered Work category

David Butt Philip, who has been nominated in the Young Singer category

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Sunday 26 April 2015 at The Savoy Theatre in London.
