Allison Bell and Nathan Gunn’s performance in Love and Other Demons released on CD

On 30th September, Glyndebourne Label released a live recording of the critically acclaimed, world premiere of Love and Other Demons by Peter Eötvös.

Love and Other Demons received its world premiere at the 2008 Glyndebourne Festival before being staged by Lithuanian National Opera later that year.

Several of the featured artists were critically acclaimed for their performances including Ingpen soprano Allison Bell.  She is regularly chosen by Peter Eötvös to perform as a vocal soloist in performances of his work and in 2011 appeared on the Ensemble Linea Play Eötvös CD which won a Hungarian FONOGRAM award and the Orphée d’Or at the Académie Internationale du Disque Lyrique in Paris.

In the role of Father Cayetano Delaura, another Ingpen artist American baritone Nathan Gunn also made his mark. He has performed at many of the great opera houses internationally including the Royal Opera House, Lyric Opera Chicago, Bayerische Staatsoper and the Metropolitan Opera.
