Busy London November for Roderick Williams
12.11.13Following his success in the BBC Symphony Orchestra’s performance of Britten’s War Requiem conducted by Semyon Bychkov in the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday November 10th (also featuring tenor Allan Clayton) Roderick Williams will sing Mozart’s Requiem in St John’s Smith Square with the City of London Sinfonia on Wednesday November 13th, a recital with Julius Drake in Middle Temple Hall (featuring a performance of Brahms’ Die schöne Magelone) on Thursday November 14th and will sing Mr Gedge the vicar in a concert performance of Albert Herring by the BBC Symphony Orchestra conducted by Steuart Bedford in the Barbican on Saturday November 23rd. He will continue the Britten theme with two performances of the War Requiem with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra on November 27th and 30th, also conducted by Bychkov.
