Lothar Koenigs to conduct double Manon Project for WNO

Welsh National Opera will present a fascinating double study of the Manon story this spring with productions of Puccini’s Manon Lescaut and Henze’s Boulevard Solitude (based on the same story) running side-by-side in their spring repertoire, both conducted by WNO Music Director Lothar Koenigs.  Directed by Mariusz Trelinski, Manon Lescaut will open in Cardiff on February 8^th, and Boulevard Solitude on February 26^th.
