
New Kathryn Rudge CD released by Champs Hill Records
19.03.15Champs Hill Records have released a new CD of recital songs and ballads in English which features Kathryn Rudge, accompanied by James Baillieu. All the songs and ballads were written between the years 1823 and 1945 by British composers whose lives were affected by the war.
Kathryn writes ” The sentiments of these pieces still resonate strongly in our lives today, never more so than when we remember them in relation to the events of the past”.

Kathryn’s forthcoming concert engagements include a performance of Elgar’s The Kingdom in Wells Cathedral, Mozart Requiem by candlelight for Raymond Gubbay as well as a recital in Oxford with James Baillieu. She will perform the role of Dorabella at Garsington this summer.
