Ryan Wigglesworth leads new collaboration between the Junge Deustche Philharmonie and Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen

The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen are working with the young players of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie in a new academy project culminating in a series of concerts to be conducted by Ryan Wigglesworth, in a programme including Wigglesworth’s own Locke’s Theatre and Janacek’s Sinfonietta. The concerts will take place at the Philharmonie in Cologne on March 8, the Konzerthaus Berlin on March 9 and the Glocke Bremen on March 10 and 11. In April Wigglesworth will return to Germany to record his Études Tableaux and Elgar’s Symphony No 1 with the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra for the Bavarian Radio.
