Michael Nyman writes new songs for Kathryn Rudge
24.10.16Kathryn Rudge will sing some new songs written for her by Michael Nyman on November 20 at Leeds College of Music as part of a weekend celebrating the current BBC New Generation Artists. Collaborating with her regular partner, pianist James Baillieu, Kathryn will also feature songs by Elgar, Strauss and Schumann. The Nyman songs are jointly commissioned by the Royal Philharmonic Society and the BBC.
