Jonathan Bloxham steps in for four concerts with Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen including Hamburg Elbephilharmonie

Having made his debut with DKAM Bremen last August, returning for a recording project in January, Jonathan Bloxham has now been invited to conduct four concerts this week in Bremen and Hamburg’s Elbephilharmonie, replacing an indisposed Paavo Järvi. The programmes include Mendelssohn’s Symphony No 1, Schubert’s ‘Unfinished’ and Bruch’s Double Concerto for Clarinet and Viola with soloists Matthew Hunt and Nils Mönkemeyer.

Jonathan Bloxham returns to Dublin in the following weeks for further concerts in the National Concert Hall with the RTE Concert Orchestra on April 9 and 16 and will present his Northern Chords Festival in Newcastle between May 3 and 5.
