Ida Ränzlöv makes role debut as Claire in Melancholia for Royal Swedish Opera

Swedish mezzo-soprano Ida Ränzlöv is making her role debut as Claire in Melancholia for Royal Swedish Opera from 3-19 October 2026. The opera, written by Mikael Karlsson, premiered at the Royal Swedish Opera in 2023.  Ida has been a member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Stuttgart since the 2019/2020 season where recent and future roles include Cherubino, Rosina, the Fox, Hänsel, Octavian, Wellgunde, Idamante and Carmen.
