Jonathan Groves

Jonathan Groves received his formative musical training as a chorister at King’s College Cambridge under Sir David Willcocks. He returned to Cambridge as an undergraduate, studying history at Trinity College, and serving as President of the Cambridge University Music Club.

He joined Ingpen & Williams Limited in 1974, and became a director in 1976. Since then he has been responsible for the worldwide management of many distinguished artists, several of whom he has been associated with for well over thirty years and with whom he will continue to work under the banner of Groves Artists.

Jonathan Groves was a founding board member of the Young Classical Artists Trust, is a Governor of the Royal Northern College of Music and served for many years as Chair of the Opera Committee of the International Artist Managers’ Association. He lives in south-west London and is married with three grown-up children.
