Morgan Pearse featured in Gramophone Recording of the Month
15.09.26The English Concert’s recording of Handel’s opera Giulio Cesare in Egitto has been chosen as Gramophone’s Recording of the Month for October 2026. The recording features Groves baritone Morgan Pearse, who regularly works with English Concert, in the role of Achilla, and is being released on 18th September 2026. Morgan’s recent performances include Bach and Telemann with Pinchgut Opera, St John Passion at the Chappelle Royale in Versailles, and he will soon be starting rehearsals with English National Opera singing the role of Thoas in Iphigénie en Tauride.
