Marc-André Hamelin: Shortlisted for Artist of the Year and also the Instrumental Award for his Haydn Piano Sonatas III on the Hyperion label
Elias String Quartet: Shortlisted for the Chamber Award for their Schumann/Dvorak Piano Quintets with Jonathan Biss on the Onyx label
Paul Lewis: Shortlsted for the Instrumental Award for his Schubert Wandererfantasie and other works on the Harmonia Mundi label
Sir Mark Elder: Conductor on The Apostles for the Hallé label which has been shortlisted for the Choral Award
Allan Clayton: Sings on Saint NIcholas for the Hyperion label which has been shortlisted for the Choral Award and in Written on Skin for the Nimbus label which has been shortlisted for the Contemporary Award
Carolyn Sampson: Sings in I Was Glad for the Vivace label which has been shortlisted for the Choral Award
Claire Booth: Sings in Britten’s Rape of Lucretia for the Virgin Classics label which has been shortlisted for the Opera Award and in Knussen’s Whitman Settings for the NMC label which has been shortlisted for the Contemopary Award
